Feeding Belts VKS
VKS feed strips for sheep and goats are the top choice for feeding sheep and goats. Itis the easiest way to feed animals but also a high-quality tool with many benefits. The robust construction ( hot-dip galvanized or stainless steel body, heavy duty, stainless steel exterior surfaces, aluminum shutters) is designed for the harsh conditions on the farm.
There are 3 different models, each one in two variations, so everyone can find the belt, that best serves their needs. The VKS sheep and goat feeding belt can easily feed 6 animals per meter. Can be used in a variety of different animal feeds.
Loading can be done manually, by auger, by a feed distributor or even by a robot. The loading area is outside the animal area, so it remains clean and easily accessible.
The feeding belt can save a lot of space as it eliminates the need for feed aisles, and can be used as a divider for groups of animals. Each animal can access its assigned feed without being pushed or disturbed by other animals.
The operation of the VKS feed tape is controlled from the central control panel. The belt speed can be easily adjusted by external rotary switch. The user can also choose between manual or automatic operation, through an external switch. When automatic mode is selected, a sensor is activated. If for some reason there is no feed on the belt, the belt stops until there is food. Once full, the belt starts moving again automatically. In all food conveyors the loading section, the internal surface under the belt and the outer sides surfaces are made of stainless steel food (304) .
